Pushkin’s pistol

Volume: 0,2 L,

On the hot summer of 1821 Alexander Pushkin challenged for duel the General Staff officer Zubov for his bad remarks about the gypsies with whom the poet wandered around. Zubov was to shoot first but missed, and Pushkin unloaded his pistol and told the second: ‘If there is no hatred in soul, let no bullet be in the barrel’.
